Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Store Manager for a Stoke-on-Trent store. You will lead the sales team, drive targets and KPIs, and ensure outstanding customer service.

The role requires managing day-to-day store operations, stock control, and staff rotas, while maintaining high store presentation and a strong customer-focused culture. Industry experience in carpets/flooring is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Store Manager or equivalent retail leadership role.
• Experience managing, motivating and developing a team.
• Strong understanding of the retail sales process.
• Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Confident and professional approach to customer service.

• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established retail organisation for a Store Manager to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager, Team Leader or ambitious retail manager looking to take the next step in their career. Equally, experienced Store Managers seeking a new challenge are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the store, leading and motivating the sales team, driving sales performance against targets and KPIs, and ensuring the highest possible standards of customer service. Previous experience within carpets, flooring or beds retail would be advantageous but is not essential.

About You

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager, Team Leader or similar retail leadership role
