Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd are seeking a Housing Officer to deliver efficient housing management services within the council. Contract is for 3 months and based in Stoke on Trent (ST2 8DU). Hours per week: 37 hrs, Monday – Friday, office based with 50% office and 50% field work.

You will manage tenancies, tackle anti-social behaviour, advise tenants and support rent arrears recovery while engaging with communities. IT literacy and knowledge of tenancy conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience in social housing.
• Solid knowledge of housing management practices.
• Experience driving service improvements and managing change.

Housing Officer

Hours per week: 37 hrs Monday - Friday, normal working hours

Location: Stoke on Trent, ST2 8DU.

Office Based

This role is split between 50% office and 50% working within designated area

Key requirements:

• Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills and competence / experience of working in social housing
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Housing Management
• Experience of improving services and managing change
• Experience of visiting, interviewing and advising tenants
• experience in the interpretation and application of Tenancy Conditions & procedures
• IT literate
