Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd are seeking a Housing Officer to deliver efficient housing management services within the council. Contract is for 3 months and based in Stoke on Trent (ST2 8DU). Hours per week: 37 hrs, Monday – Friday, office based with 50% office and 50% field work.

You will manage tenancies, tackle anti-social behaviour, advise tenants and support rent arrears recovery while engaging with communities. IT literacy and knowledge of tenancy conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience in social housing.
• Solid knowledge of housing management practices.
• Experience driving service improvements and managing change.

Responsibilities

• Tenancy management and rent collection support.
• Management of anti-social behaviour and tenancy issues.
• Identify tenancy support needs and refer to agencies.
• Tenant consultation and participation activities.
• Recovery of rent arrears and income maximisation.
