Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd, acting on behalf of our client in Blaydon, Tyne and Wear, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service vans, light commercial vehicles and cars. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance, follow manufacturer guidelines and ensure vehicles are returned to customers promptly.

The role offers a basic salary up to £37,639 with OTE up to £43,639 and a range of benefits including a company pension, life assurance, tools insurance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Ability to work to a high standard with keen attention to detail.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a Vehicle Technician for their facility located in Blaydon, Tyne and Wear. Duties:

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars

Requirements:

• Successful completion of NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
• Ability to work to a high standard with keen attention to detail
• Strong team-working skills and a proactive approach to learning
• Awareness of health and safety practices
• Own set of tools
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT License is desirable but not essential

This Vehicle Technician role opens opportunities to work for one of the UK’s largest B2B light commercial vehicle providers. The position offers regular hours from Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) with one in four Saturday mornings, with overtime available at time and a half.
