Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a well-established franchised dealership in Northumberland (South). You will repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards and work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no weekend work unless you choose overtime.

The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £36,000 with OTE around £44,000, a £500 annual tool allowance, and access to manufacturer accredited training programmes to support your automotive career.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own set of tools.
• MOT licence desirable but not essential.
• Formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds) or NVQ Level 3 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform diagnostic checks to identify faults.
• Inspect vehicles for wear, tears, and general faults.
• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks in line with DVSA standards.

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• - Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (desirable)
• - Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
• - Possession of own set of tools
• - Full UK driving licence
• - MOT licence (desirable but not essential)
