Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd, acting on behalf of our client in Blaydon, Tyne and Wear, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service vans, light commercial vehicles and cars. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance, follow manufacturer guidelines and ensure vehicles are returned to customers promptly.

The role offers a basic salary up to £37,639 with OTE up to £43,639 and a range of benefits including a company pension, life assurance, tools insurance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City & Guilds equivalent.
• Ability to work to a high standard with keen attention to detail.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans, light commercial vehicles and cars.
• Diagnose faults and apply technical knowledge to rectify issues.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and health and safety regulations.
• Ensure customer vehicles are returned promptly and in optimal condition.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout each service visit.
