Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd in Borehamwood is seeking a Vehicle Technician (Vans) to service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles. You will work on a variety of vans ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.

This is a full-time, permanent role with Monday to Friday hours and optional overtime. Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance is preferred, and a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles (highly desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
