Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a reputable UK vehicle rental company based in Bolton to appoint a skilled Van / LCV Technician. The role involves maintaining a fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles, diagnosing faults, and ensuring vehicles are safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Qualified vehicle technician with Level 3 or Level 2 cert and 3+ years' experience.
• Proven diagnostics and mechanical/electrical repair ability on light commercial vehicles.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable UK vehicle rental company based in Bolton, to appoint a skilled Van / LCV Technician. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced Van Technicians seeking career growth within a professional environment.

Duties:

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on a fleet of Light Commercial Vehicles
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in a safe, roadworthy, and compliant condition
• Conduct servicing in accordance with manufacturer and company standards
• Minimise vehicle downtime by working efficiently to maintain fleet availability
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies during all tasks

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Level 3 Technician, or Level 2, with at least 3 years' experience
• Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs, particularly on Light Commercial Vehicles
• Strong fault-finding skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Full UK manual driving licence with no unspent convictions or pending issues
• Commitment to high standards of work and continuous professional development
