Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is pleased to present a permanent Vehicle Technician (Vans) role in Leeds. You will service, maintain and repair vans and light commercial vehicles, ensuring fleet reliability for a broad client base.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, proven LCV experience, strong diagnostic skills and a full UK driving licence. The role offers Monday–Friday hours with optional overtime and clear progression within a large national business.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred.
• Proven experience as Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Salary: £37,639 per annum (£43,639 OTE)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (with optional overtime)

About the Role

Our client is one of the UK's leading vehicle hire and fleet management businesses, and they are currently looking for skilled Vehicle Technicians to join their growing team across multiple sites nationwide.

This role will focus primarily on the maintenance, servicing, and repair of light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and vans, ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.
