Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council’s Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START) provides short-term support to people living at home. The role covers Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe, delivering care across 7am–10pm on a 4 days on/4 days off pattern. You will work both alone and as part of a team to help adults regain confidence and independence.

Full driving licence and access to a car are required with mileage paid. Training is provided; experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Access to a car for which mileage will be paid.
• Experience in social care desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support adults to increase confidence and ability to live independently at home.
• Work across Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.
• Flexibility to cover 7am–10pm, weekends, Bank Holidays and split shifts as per contracted hours.
