Job summary

Trafford Council is looking for a compassionate Reablement Support Worker to help people regain independence through short-term, home-based support. You will enable clients to build skills, confidence and maintain activity in their communities, working as part of a dedicated reablement team.

You will need strong communication, flexibility to cover a rota, and a commitment to person-centred care. The role involves driving to clients’ homes and delivering SMART working opportunities where possible.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check with adults barred list required.
• Must be able to drive and hold a valid driving licence.
• Able to work across a rota and unsocial hours; 8:00–21:00.
