Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a proactive administrator to support the Reablement and Responder Service in Inverurie. You will act as first point of contact for service users, families and staff, and help schedule and deploy carers to deliver planned and unplanned care.

The role requires accuracy, good IT skills, and the ability to work weekdays with hybrid/home working options, travel to team meetings, and a commitment to quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires reference from current or most recent employer.
• Disclosure Scotland check required.
• Hybrid/Home working and travel to team meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for the Reablement and Responder Service, taking ownership of requests to ensure an appropriate response is provided and queries are resolved.
• Use a scheduling and monitoring system to input service user support plan information.
• Use a scheduling and monitoring system to develop and maintain work schedules for care staff.
• Update schedules in response to staff absences, emergencies, or changes in service user needs and communicate changes.
• Provide support and advice to frontline staff in line with policies and procedures.
• Maintain and record accurate records in required systems and provide information when required.
• Report missed visits, late arrivals, and other issues to the Reablement and Response Coordinator.
