A healthcare organization in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking candidates for the Radiology Department. Successful applicants will work within various imaging modalities, contribute to an out of hours service, and collaborate as part of a dedicated team. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of radiation legislation. The Trust promotes flexible working arrangements and has multiple locations for patient care, ensuring a supportive environment for both staff and patients.
The Radiology Department delivers high quality imaging across a range of modalities using a patient‑centred approach. The successful candidates would be expected to work as part of a team based at one of the Trust main sites, providing imaging across a range of modalities including intraoperative screening. They would also be expected to participate in the out of hours service within their base hospital, which requires a commitment to working autonomously within a busy environment. There would be a requirement to operate a wide range of modalities once appropriate training has been completed. Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential and knowledge of the current radiation legislation is required.
