Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses for various sensor systems at sites including Fareham, UK and Gothenburg, Sweden, with global client locations. You will develop educational material and support technical publications while building a wide professional network.

The role requires experience in radar or related electronic systems, teaching expertise, and willingness to travel up to three weeks per training event; UK/Swedish

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or complex electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience in a technical environment.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per event).
• Must hold UK/Swedish citizenship and be eligible for National Security Vetting at SC level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses for sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems.
• Gather, analyse and act on student feedback.
