Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses across sensor systems at Fareham and client locations worldwide. You will develop and maintain the educational materials and contribute to technical publications with UK and Swedish colleagues.

The role requires experience with radar or electronic systems, teaching or instructional experience, and willingness to travel up to several weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing environment, demonstrating problem-solving and leadership.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally; events up to several weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on a variety of sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and react to student feedback, internally and externally.
• Offer subject matter expert advice on system and software development.
• Provide feedback and input into sensor technical publications.
• Provide support to demonstrations, trials, exercises and other market growth activities.
