Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to join the Sensor Systems UK Integrated Logistic Support Training team. The role covers developing and delivering operator and maintainer training across sites in Fareham and Gothenburg, plus customer locations.

You’ll craft training materials and support technical publications while engaging with internal and external stakeholders. You will travel within the UK and globally, respond to customer needs, and contribute to a high-quality training

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience required.
• Previous experience in a technical customer-facing environment with problem solving and leadership.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per event).
• Must hold a UK driving licence and be eligible for UK/Swedish citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses for sensor systems.
• Administer and report on training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to improve training outcomes.
• Collect and act on student feedback; provide SME input on system and software development.
• Support demonstrations, trials and other market growth activities.
• Contribute to sensor technical publications and training materials.
