Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to support operator and maintenance training across sensor systems, with responsibilities spanning course delivery, system fault-finding, and publication support. You will train across the UK and Sweden sites, with opportunities to develop within Saab.

The role requires travel up to three weeks per training event, national security vetting to SC level, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Experience in a technical customer-facing environment, with problem solving and leadership in a high-pressure setting.
• Computer literacy and proficient in standard software.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and globally; active role with events.
• Full UK driving license.
• National Security Vetting clearance to SC level or ability to obtain.
• Previous military experience or exposure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on various sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit and analyse student feedback; provide SME input on system and software development.
• Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.
