Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses across sensor systems. The role involves training customers, fault-finding on systems, and contributing to publications.

Travel is required within the UK and globally (up to 3 weeks per training event). A full UK driving licence and UK/Swedish citizenship for security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous military experience or exposure.
• Willing to travel within UK and globally; events up to 3 weeks per training event.
• Full UK driving licence.
• UK or Swedish citizenship due to security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on a variety of sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Compile, analyse and respond to student feedback.
• Provide SME input on system and software development.
• Contribute to sensor technical publications.
