Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to support our radar sensor systems training portfolio. You will plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses at sites in Fareham, UK and Gothenburg, Sweden, and at customer locations globally, with travel as required.

You will develop educational material, assist in technical publications, and provide SME input on system and software development, while maintaining a strong customer-facing ethos and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Military experience or exposure is desirable.
• Must hold UK citizenship and be eligible for National Security Vetting to SC level.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel up to 3 weeks per training event.
• ONC/HNC level or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit and analyse student feedback.
• Provide SME input into sensor publications and system/software development.
