Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses across sensor systems. The role involves training at our Fareham site and potentially customer locations, with travel to the UK and internationally.

The successful candidate will develop educational materials, support publications, and collaborate with Saab UK and Swedish colleagues to ensure high-quality training across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Technical customer-facing environment exposure.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within UK and globally.
• Must have UK or Swedish citizenship for security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events; support demonstrations and trials.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems.
• Collect and respond to student feedback to improve training materials.
