Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on diverse sensor systems. You will administer training events, operate and fault-find on customer systems, and actively analyze student feedback to improve outcomes.

The role requires teaching experience, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel within the UK and globally; a UK driving licence and SC-level vetting are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Previous experience in a technical customer-facing environment, demonstrating problem-solving and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report on training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and respond to student feedback.
• Provide SME input on system and software development.
• Support demonstrations, trials and other growth activities.
