Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor based in Fareham to deliver operator and maintainer courses across sensor systems. You will plan and execute training events, operate on customer systems, and compile feedback for improvements.

The role requires knowledge of radar/electronic systems, teaching experience, UK citizenship for SC clearance, and willingness to travel internationally. A UK driving licence and ONC/HNC level qualification are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience of radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Hold UK citizenship and be eligible for SC level clearance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel UK and globally.
• Qualified to ONC/HNC level or equivalent.
• Previous military experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to aid training.
• Solicit, compile, analyse and act on student feedback.
• Provide SME input into sensor publications and demonstrations.
• Support market growth activities, trials and exercises.
