Job summary

Saab UK in Fareham seeks a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses across our sensor systems portfolio. You will develop educational material, support demonstrations, and collaborate with UK and Swedish colleagues to ensure high-quality training.

The role requires security clearance to SC level, willingness to travel up to 3 weeks per event, and a UK driving licence. The successful candidate will join Saab's mission to advance defence training capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience is required.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally; up to 3 weeks per training event.
• Must hold UK or Swedish citizenship for security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver both operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report on training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Gather feedback and improve training materials and publications.
• Provide SME input into sensor technical publications and demonstrations.
