Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Radar Instructor based in Fareham to plan and deliver operator and maintainer training across sensor systems. You will administer events, fault-find on customer systems, and provide SME input for technical publications, while traveling UK and worldwide as required.

The role requires teaching experience, radar or electronic systems background, and eligibility for national security clearance; a UK driving licence and ONC/HNC level qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience.
• Military experience or exposure preferred.
• Willing to travel UK and globally; up to 3 weeks per training event.
• UK citizen or Swedish citizenship due to security clearance.
• Qualified to ONC/HNC level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administration and reporting of training events.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems.
• Solicit, compile, analyze and respond to student feedback.
• Provide SME input into sensor publications and demonstrations.
• Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.
