Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a UK-based Radar Instructor to plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems. You will administer training events and fault-find on customer systems to enhance learning outcomes.

The role requires teaching experience, radar/electronic systems know-how, and willingness to travel across the UK and internationally, including up to three weeks per event. National Security Vetting clearance will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with radar, communications or sophisticated electronic systems.
• Teaching or instructional experience is required.
• Previous military experience or exposure is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within UK and globally; up to 3 weeks per training event.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver operator and maintainer courses on sensor systems.
• Administer and report on training events as required.
• Operate and fault-find on customer sensor systems to enhance training.
• Collect and analyse student feedback and provide SME input to publications.
• Support demonstrations, trials, exercises and market growth activities.
