Job summary

Voyse Limited is seeking a Site Supervisor (No Staff) for the B&M Distribution Centre in Ellesmere Port. The role reports to the Area Service Manager and focuses on ensuring defined site performance goals are met, performing preventative maintenance, and managing parts stock.

You will build customer relationships, support review meetings, lead a small team, liaise with the aftersales office, identify sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment, and act as a company ambassador while occasionally

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Clean driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Complete service reports and time sheets accurately.
• Manage and control spare parts stock.
• Build relationships with customers through clear communication.
• Support customer review meetings as directed by the line manager.
• Develop and coach the team to maximise potential using site audit tools.
• Coordinate with aftersales to provide accurate repair ETA information.
• Drive external revenue by communicating chargeable follow-up work.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed for company and customer.
• Identify sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment and After Sales products.
• Act as a company ambassador at all times.
• May be required to perform other duties including call outs and after-hours work.

The Role

• Responsible for assisting the Area Service Manager by ensuring that defined site performance goals and standards are being met on their site
• Repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment

Role Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment
• Repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment
• Accurately complete service reports and time sheets
• Manage and control parts stock
• Build customer relationships through good levels of communication, ensuring customer expectations are met in line with contractual obligations
• Contribute to customer review meetings as agreed by line manager
• Develop and motivate team to maximise potential using site audit tool to drive continuous improvement
• Close liaison with the after sales office to ensure accurate information for customers in regards to repair times and estimated times of arrival
• Optimise external revenue by ensuring chargeable follow up work identified is communicated to the Customer and completed in a timely manner
• Ensure all company and customer health and safety procedures are met
• Identify sales leads for the Jungheinrich range of equipment and After Sales products
• Act as a Company Ambassador at all times

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Area Service Manager such as call out and working outside of normal working hours

Role Requirements

• We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex forces military vehicle engineers.
• The ideal candidate will hold a clean driving license and have a good level of education.
• They will also have experience of working in a customer facing environment and be used to working unsupervised.
