Quantity Surveyor – North London

Salary: £80,000 + pkg
Location: North London

A leading, highly reputable Main Contractor who has developed into a reputable organisation for delivering complex refurbishment projects. They offer groundbreaking and value solutions for all clients.

They are a skilled and experienced company that undertakes a range of traditional and Design and Build projects in Educational, Residential, Commercial, and Retail sectors.

Due to their success and strong turnover whilst delivering outstanding results, they now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes.

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities
  • Preparing tender and contract documents whilst carrying out cost analysis for tenders
  • Carrying out risk and value management and cost control whilst guiding on procurement strategies
  • Preparing a monthly cost report and monthly sub-contract valuations
  • Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
  • Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
Personal Specification & Requirements
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to grow within the business
  • Good problem solver and able to work with minimal instruction
  • Punctual, reliable, and possessing good practical skills
  • Degree qualified or Equivalent
  • Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Ideally Degree qualified or other relative qualifications
  • Able to work autonomously on more than one project at a time
  • Excellent commercial awareness
