Express Recruitment are excited to be working with a well-established construction contractor based in Leicester. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their team and play a pivotal role in cost management for a range of construction projects across Leicestershire.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender submissions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Manage project budgets, cost control and contract administration to maintain financial accountability
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to build relationships and support seamless project delivery
  • Monitor and process subcontractor payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide regular cost reports and financial insights to support decision-making and project success
  • Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities and strategies to drive company growth

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator within the construction industry
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimise project performance
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers and internal teams
  • Proficiency in using estimating and project management software/tools
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Vacancy Details:

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Salary: Up to c£50,000 per annum D.O.E
