Join Techner as a Telecom Quantity Surveyor in a full-time, permanent role! This opportunity is open exclusively to individuals with the right qualifications and experience.

Role Overview:

As a Telecom Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing project finances, from cost estimation to final account reconciliation. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining compliance with telecom industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
Oversee tendering, negotiate contracts, and handle subcontractor agreements.
Monitor project expenditure and conduct P&L analysis to ensure profitability.
Track variation requests (VR) and assess financial impacts.
Review and reconcile final accounts for accurate project closure.
Conduct build cost preparation and quantity take-offs from design drawings.
Provide regular financial reports and recommend cost optimisation strategies.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Ensure safe handling of sensitive project data, adhering to cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecom/Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in the telecom sector.
Proficiency in cost estimation, budget management, and final account reconciliation.
Strong knowledge of variation request tracking, P&L analysis, and project financial reporting.
Familiarity with industry regulations, cost management systems, and CAD software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in telecom and construction sectors.
