Quantity Surveyor - Office-to-Residential Conversion

Location: Hammersmith, London

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + car allowance

Office to Apartments Scheme

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team on an exciting residential conversion project.

The Project

You will be overseeing the conversion of an office building into apartments valued at £1.5m, with the client having secured a further 23 apartments adding an additional £4m to the project value. This is a high-profile, mixed-scope development offering exposure to all aspects of residential construction cost management.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for the project.
  • Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of works.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, valuations, and payments.
  • Provide proactive commercial advice to the project team.
  • Ensure effective reporting to clients on project financial performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential or mixed-use conversion projects.
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
