Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our organisation’s quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of product quality and implementing process controls, working to improve quality manufacturing processes to optimise performance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead internal audits and coordinate external inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure all products meet specified safety, quality, and regulatory standards before release.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality procedures, inspections, and non-conformance reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, HACCP procedures, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments to enhance product consistency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Quality Manager in a Manufacturing environment
  • A good knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Able to identify unsafe practice
  • Able to ensure that health & safety policy is understood and adhered too
  • Experience of implementing processes to support quality improvement
  • Experience of managing Quality systems
  • Able to operate at all levels of the business
  • Able to influence change and drive improvement
  • Experience in a manufacturing / automotive environments would be an advantage
