Contract Details

• Duration: 12 months
• Rate: £45‑£58 p/h (LTD)
• Location: Reading
• Expenses: Mileage paid for candidates 50+ miles from site
• Clearance: SC Clearance (or above) required

Requirements

• Experience in a quality‑focused role on major infrastructure/civils projects (nuclear experience advantageous).
• Ability to read, interpret, and work against detailed design drawings.
• Strong background in on‑site inspections against approved designs.
• CSCS card essential.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and acceptance of procedures and documentation in line with QC1 requirements.
• Undertake QC inspections in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs).
• Witness testing and carry out on‑site inspections.
• Participate in required project, coordination, and quality meetings.
