Quality Inspector

Up to £35,000 per year

Are you a Quality inspector with vast experience with metrology equipment? Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client in the Gloucestershire area. This role will suit an individual who is experience in inspection tasks within a manufacturing environment.

The Role:
  • Carry out inspection activities across all stages of production, including goods‑in, in‑process, NDT, and final inspection
  • Ensure products and processes comply with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
  • Accurately complete and maintain quality documentation, including first‑off inspections, dimensional reports, NDT records, material certification, calibration records, and non‑conformance reports
  • Identify and raise non‑conformances where products or processes do not meet required standards
  • Use approved inspection equipment and measurement techniques to verify product quality in tightly controlled manufacturing environments
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within all inspection areas
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection function
  • Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required by the Inspection Supervisor or HSQE Manager to meet customer and business objectives
About you:
  • Skilled with precision inspection tools and CMM (manual & CNC)
  • PCN Level 2 NDT preferred
  • Able to read engineering drawings and handle material certification
  • Calm under pressure; balances quality and production
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QA standards
  • Strong teamwork, communication, numeracy, and IT skills
