Edge Careers are currently recruiting a 'Quality Engineer' for our client who's a reputable Groundworks Contractor. They predominantly operate within the Residential Sector. They specialise in Roads, Sewers, Infrastructure, Bulk Earthworks and Housing Plot Groundworks.

You might not have directly worked in this type of role before but my client is looking to speak with candidates that have a good attitude, who are able to effectively communicate at all levels and who are passionate to ensure the overall quality is been achieved on site. Any good knowledge of NHBC would be beneficial.

If you are working in role such as Site Engineer, Quality Manager, Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, Land Surveyor, Customer Service Managers that understand the New Build Residential Sector, whether that's from a Groundworks background or directly working for a Residential developer.

You will be given full training and development and in due course will be responsible for overseeing x2 regions. Typically covering the West Midlands and then from Oxford down to just north of London outside of the M25.

You will be responsible for multiple live projects across these areas and will primarily be checking plots, roads and drainage to ensure the build is correct.

• Depth to step
• Checking rings
• Channel benching
• Dip type 1
• Brickwork quality
• Wall ties
• DPC
• Air vents
• Gardens
• Driveways
• and overall build quality
