A food manufacturing company in Wigan is seeking a Quality Controller with a keen interest in food and attention to detail. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Full training will be provided, and you will work Monday to Friday from 2 PM until the finish. Job description

We are looking for Quality Controller staff with experience working within food manufacturing and / or food production.

This is a great role for anyone looking to get a wider understanding of food manufacturing and / or to start a new career adventure.

• To have an interest in food and a keen eye for detail.
• You must be willing to learn and be able to work under your own initiative.

• Excellent communication skills, confidence and the ability to challenge and question in a professional manner are essential.

Ideally you will be a non-smoker (smoking affects taste buds when sampling products), a good decision maker and a forward thinker.
