Responsibilities

  • Internally and externally audit to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with professional certification bodies for ISO accreditations.
  • Lead continuous improvement of standard practices and procedures through stakeholder engagement.
  • Liaise with all business units to provide contractual and technical advice in respect to quality issues.
  • Undertake quality site inspections in accordance with Warranty Technical Standards.
  • Drive the Quality Assurance and Control at project level.
  • Lead procedural development to support construction delivery.
  • Develop and maintain the company audit systems.

Skills

Experience within a housebuilding or construction environment
Good communication skills
Excellent report-writing and IT skills
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001

Quality & Compliance Manager – QHSE Taskforce

Leading residential developer and main contractor are looking for a Quality & Compliance Manager to join their growing operation based out of Birmingham. You will ensure consistent quality & compliance standards are applied to ensure that business processes are compliant with the company-wide management system. You will play a key role in ensuring the business maintains its ISO 900 and 14001 accreditations and will have a particularly good understanding of quality management in relation to housebuilding or construction projects. This role could suit a Site Manager with strong QA/QC experience and an understanding of the wider technical standards such as NHBC etc or an accomplished Quality Manager from a construction or housebuilding background.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internally and externally audit to ensure compliance.
