The Vehicle Services Quality Centre of Excellence within the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is seeking a Technical Quality Coach - Commercial in Plymouth. The role focuses on delivering quality assurance checks, coaching staff, and providing technical support to improve testing quality and consistency across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme.

• Experience in vehicle testing quality assurance.
• Ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Experience analysing quality and performance data.
• Knowledge of DVSA policies and operating instructions.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver quality assurance checks across the Commercial Vehicle Testing scheme to ensure compliance with DVSA standards, policies and operating instructions.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and technical support to improve testing quality, consistency and competency.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support appeals, complaints investigations, technical inspections and site suitability activities.
• Support the authorisation, review and ongoing suitability of Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs), providing technical assurance and recommendations to support service delivery.
• Contribute to the Quality Centre of Excellence by promoting continuous improvement and service excellence.
