We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading chilled food manufacturing business based in South West Wales. Following continued growth, the business now seeks a hands‑on QA professional to drive food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement on site.

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the QA function, ensuring all products meet food safety, authenticity, and quality standards. Working closely with the Technical Manager, production, and site teams, this role will promote a strong food safety culture, support audits, and deliver ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the QA team, supporting site‑wide technical and quality performance.
  • Oversee HACCP, GMP, and product release systems.
  • Support external audits, investigate non‑conformances, and manage food safety documentation.
  • Drive root cause analysis and improvement projects across production and quality areas.
The Ideal Candidate
  • 3+ years’ experience in technical or quality roles within food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, food microbiology, and HACCP.
  • Minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene and HACCP (Level 4 desirable).
  • Confident communicator with strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
