Job description
Overview

Unipres (UK) Limited requires a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, you will be accountable for the whole purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation.

Salary: £26,982.00 £28,401.96 (depending on experiance)

Key Responsibilities
  • Matching, checking and coding invoices
  • Making payments via BACS
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Data entry and filing of invoices
  • Being the first point of contact for all relevant enquiries
  • Resolving queries
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
  • Reviewing systems and processes, making improvements where necessary
  • Accounts Receivable duties (cover/rotation)
  • To ensure that all work is completed in line with company policies and procedures
  • Any other duties as requested to assist in the effective management of the department

  • Confident with Excel and quick to learn other systems, such as SUN and BACS
  • Ability to develop good supplier/colleague relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • Ability to work to deadlines
