A leading water management company in the UK is seeking a new team member to maintain sewage pumping stations and provide customer support. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults. Candidates should have a positive attitude towards problem-solving, ideally possess NVQ level 2 in sewerage operations, and be willing to undergo further training. Your main responsibilities will include providing support and assistance to other members of the team as and when required.
Providing emergency cover on a standby rota is essential and required so you must have a flexible approach to working weekends.
You will be on a 1 in 4 standby rotation.
You will be a customer-focused person with a positive approach to resolving problems.
In addition, you will have mechanical and electrical skills with formal qualifications in these areas, however, this is not essential.
