Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Client Support Manager on a 6-month fixed-term contract across Wales. The role focuses on building relationships with clients, managing opportunities and delivering procurement solutions.

The successful candidate will engage with public sector clients, coordinate with suppliers, and travel across Wales while spending one day per week at a local office. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a client-focused account management or relationship management role.
• An understanding of public sector procurement, construction, property or building maintenance.
• Strong relationship-building skills and confidence dealing with stakeholders face-to-face.
• Experience identifying and developing commercial opportunities.
• Good influencing, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Experience using a CRM system to manage clients, leads and opportunities.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills, particularly with dispersed clients.
• A degree or equivalent vocational qualification.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for clients across Wales and build lasting relationships.
• Develop and deliver client engagement plans.
• Meet clients regularly to understand needs and upcoming projects.
• Identify new leads and manage opportunities from initial contact to close.
• Maintain an active pipeline in the CRM and accurate activity records.
• Work toward client engagement and commercial targets.
• Introduce additional services and solutions to existing clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver client projects.
• Build relationships with contractors, suppliers and service providers.
• Develop understanding of procurement solutions, pricing and services.
• Keep up to date with public procurement requirements.
• Support clients and suppliers around social value and community impact.
• Attend meetings, events, exhibitions and seminars across Wales.
