Yolk Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth for a fast-growing technology consultancy serving the public sector. Hybrid role based in Cardiff with office flexibility and strong commission potential.

You'll identify and secure new opportunities, build strategic partnerships with Local Authorities and Higher Education, and manage a robust sales pipeline across public sector accounts, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development or sales within technology/digital services.
• Experience selling into public sector organisations (Local Authorities, Higher Education, Housing Associations).
• Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new public sector opportunities before they enter formal procurement.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Develop strategic partnerships and pursue framework opportunities; manage CRM and pipeline reporting.
