The Graduate Network is helping a Birmingham special educational needs school recruit a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant. The role focuses on providing dedicated 1-2-1 support to pupils with SEND and may involve whole-class activities in partnership with teaching staff.

We are looking for a recent Psychology graduate with a strong interest in SEND. Training and ongoing support will be provided in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires a recent Psychology Graduate with an interest in SEND.
• A keen interest in Special Educational Needs is essential for this role and training will be provided.
• You will receive excellent training and school support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-2-1 support for children with SEN including Autism, Aspergers' and communication impairments.
• Deliver whole class and small group activities in collaboration with the teacher.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and help track progress.
