Five Education are seeking caring, resilient, and enthusiastic Psychology Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants in Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates looking to build hands-on experience supporting children and young people with additional educational needs while developing skills relevant to future careers.

The school caters for pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning disabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology or related discipline required.
• Passion for supporting children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs.
• Patient, compassionate and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to help pupils meet EHCP targets.
• Encourage development of communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs.
• Build trusting relationships to keep pupils engaged and motivated.
