Protocol Education is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs. A psychology graduate will help pupils engage with learning and build skills.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to establish routines and support emotional regulation.

Qualifications

• Psychology graduate preferred; ability to apply knowledge to support learning.
• Empathy, patience and resilience when working with pupils.
• Experience with children or young people is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to create supportive routines
• Using your psychology knowledge to help children manage emotions and behaviour
