Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Psychology Graduate to provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Autism in Birmingham. This role offers meaningful experience in a SEN school, helping students follow routines, access learning, and develop communication skills.

You will work closely with teaching staff and build trust with pupils who need extra support. A 2:2 or above in Psychology, plus a desire to pursue a psychology career, is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree – A 2:2 or above in Psychology or a related subject.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Autism.
• Help students follow routines and engage more positively.
• Work closely with teaching staff and wider professionals.
