Are you a recent Psychology graduate looking to kick-start your career in education or child development? Do you have a passion for supporting young learners and helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally?

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our friendly and supportive primary schools across Bolton and Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while using your psychological knowledge to make a real difference in children's lives.

The Role
  • Support pupils in class, small groups, or on a one-to-one basis.
  • Assist teachers in creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
  • Use your understanding of psychology to support children with additional needs, including SEN, behavioural, or emotional challenges.
  • Help pupils build confidence, resilience, and social skills.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities.
What We're Looking For
  • A degree in Psychology (or related subject).
  • A genuine interest in child development, learning, and well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude.
  • Previous experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential.
