Overview
The Role involves continuing the resourcing of a high‑quality PSHE curriculum informed by evidence, best practice and statutory guidance. Responsibilities include curriculum mapping, support to schools on PSHE and citizenship provision, safeguarding sensitive content, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop materials to support teachers, such as readable teacher packs and asynchronous CPD clips.
- Support school leaders with tailored guidance and best‑practice examples to drive successful implementation of PSHE.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and provide guidance and monitoring mechanisms.
- Build trust capacity for high‑quality PSHE delivery by creating opportunities for cross‑school collaboration.
- Promote inclusion and diversity within the PSHE curriculum.
- Maintain relationships with third‑party providers to ensure schools have access to a rich and complete offer.
- Coordinate a network of PSHE Leads from within our schools.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external organisations.
- Provide an expert voice to schools and the central team on PSHE, RSHE and Citizenship.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading PSHE provision at primary and/or secondary schools.
- Experience of teaching and supporting others to teach sensitive, challenging and controversial topics.
- Experience of managing issues arising from the delivery of challenging topics including public‑facing communications.
- Expertise in using the principles of the Great Teaching Toolkit, Rosenshine's Principles and/or Teach Like a Champion.
- Proven experience of working autonomously and delivering at pace to agreed timelines and project plans.
- Excited to share knowledge and expertise with a diverse family of schools and able to travel to schools across the country when required.
- Understanding and respect for the importance of diverse cultures and faiths within the school, with a commitment to equal opportunities.

This vacancy closes at midnight on 19 January 2026. The role can also be offered at part‑time (18.75 hours per week, 0.5 FTE).
Recruitment Process
Short‑listed candidates will complete a short task between 22 and 29 January 2026. Following the short task, short‑listed candidates will be invited to a 1‑hour interview on 5 February 2026.
