As Project Technical Lead, you will coordinate upfront design and project delivery, working closely with Project Managers and technical experts across our multidisciplinary teams. You will play a fundamental role in identifying innovative and sustainable solutions, working collaboratively with clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring we deliver value and client service excellence, monitoring the quality, compliance, and efficiency of project deliverables. Additional responsibilities include:
We work on a variety of project areas within the water sector, including clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage. Our national design teams are involved in large partnership initiatives such as Hull and East Riding’s Living with Water partnership, award-winning projects such as the Clifton Integrated Constructed Wetland, along with other UK-wide opportunities.
Locally, this includes Welsh Water's AMP 8 Engineering Consultancy Framework, Thames Water's Asset, Capital & Engineering Framework, and Wessex Water's AMP 8 Capital Delivery Partnership.
About You
We are looking for someone passionate about solving engineering problems, with the ability to lead and inspire, and the confidence to drive challenging solutions.
You will have experience in a similar role within the water sector or other relevant regulated industries, along with a relevant degree (or equivalent). Ideally, you will be chartered or a member of a relevant engineering institution, e.g., ICE. Support can be provided to achieve this if required.
