Job summary

thyssenkrupp Elevator in Belfast seeks a Project Supervisor to manage a regional portfolio, reporting to the Head of Projects. You will lead New Installation and Modernisation engineers and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires strong customer engagement, cross-functional coordination, and a commitment to quality and profitability across multiple sites in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Project Supervisor role.
• Experience in an operational engineering/manufacturing or construction environment.
• Experience in high-volume production.
• Customer relationship management skills and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work with others.
• Organised with strong personal development mindset.
• Advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational metrics and support achievement of performance targets.
• Supervise and coordinate New Installation and Modernisation Engineers; conduct monthly meetings and safety visits.
• Ensure works comply with policies, procedures and standards.
• Visit customers, provide updates and monitor satisfaction.
• Manage customer complaints per internal processes and resolve effectively.
• Work with teams to provide best-engineered materials for project delivery and profitability.
• Oversee engineer timesheets and holiday requests; manage night call rota schedules.
• Submit CPPs, Method Statements, Quality Plans and Programmes for approval.
• Verify payment milestones with Credit Control before manufacture and handover.
• Submit project variations and agree final accounts before closure.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews and report re-estimates; ensure snag-free handover to Service.
